Founded in 1951 by Dick Yin Wong, Ben Lau and Richard C. Lo, the firm has had a number of prestigious professionals on its staff – including the Honorable Dick Yin Wong, who went on to become a Circuit Court Tax Judge for the State of Hawaii; George “Scotty” Koga, who was later elected as a Honolulu City Councilman; and Paul Devens, who served as Corporation Counsel and later as Managing Director of the City & County of Honolulu.
