Founded in 1951 by Dick Yin Wong, Ben Lau and Richard C. Lo, the firm has had a number of prestigious professionals on its staff – including the Honorable Dick Yin Wong, who went on to become a Circuit Court Tax Judge for the State of Hawaii; George “Scotty” Koga, who was later elected as a Honolulu City Councilman; and Paul Devens, who served as Corporation Counsel and later as Managing Director of the City & County of Honolulu.

The firm represents clients such as Central Pacific Bank, in well-known commercial transactions and is also no stranger to high profile litigation, having represented clients in heptachlor and asbestos cases.  It is probably best known for its work with wills and trusts, probate, tax and business planning and real estate transactions.
